Campus Beautification Day
The joint KES and PTO Campus Beautification Day went smoothly due to the help of our wonderful and hardworking KES families and staff. They spent the morning double-coating the blue walls outside of the classrooms, so that the teachers and students could use the walls to display their creative projects for others to see. The younger students and their families painted the concrete benches near the curbside drop-off and on A-field a beautiful matching blue.
Thank you very much to all who came and dedicated their time to improve the school campus. The walls and benches look awesome!
The kids had a spooky night of freeze dance, crafts, and a costume parade. Children came dressed in their favorite characters, super heroes and princesses. Mr. Yoshimoto awarded prizes for best costume and best decorated pumpkin. Families came together to laugh, eat, and celebrate the Halloween festivities. The children had a fang-tastic time dancing in the cafeteria with creepy decorations, fog, disco light and music. The night ended with children walking in the costume parade and collecting candy along the way. The Monster Mash is sponsored by KES PTO.
Movie nights are a fun way to get together with friends from school, and enjoy a movie under the stars. Families brought their blankets, chairs and pillows, and had the option to buy food from venders such as, Olay’s Thai, Inferno Pizza, and Jamba Juice. Movie choices are selected by the students, and the event is sponsored by the Friends of Kamiloʻiki PTO.
